The 55th annual LA Pride Parade and the LA Pride Village are happening in Hollywood this Sunday, June 8, 2025. As always, both the parade and the village are free events! Come for the LA Pride celebrations and stop in at Amoeba Hollywood to shop our vast selection of music, movies, books, t-shirts and more. Amoeba Hollywood will be open 11am-9pm on Sunday, June 8th.

The LA Pride Parade will take place between 11am - 3:30pm, beginning at Sunset Blvd and Highland Ave heading north, then east onto Hollywood Blvd, then south onto Cahuenga Blvd, ending at Sunset Blvd and Cahuenga Blvd. Andrew Rannells will be honored as the Celebrity Grand Marshal, Niecy Nash & Jessica Betts as the Vanguard Grand Marshals, and TrinoxAdam as the Community Grand Marshals.

The LA Pride Village is a free Hollywood Blvd street fair from Argyle to mid-Bronson Ave. This year is going to be bigger and better than ever with live performances on two stages, tons of activities and giveaways, over 100 vendors, exhibitors & sponsors, and scores of food trucks, carts, and stalls. Two bars for 21-and-over, too. Look for Amoeba Hollywood at the Pride Village, sharing a tent with Pride Live! in the former Toyota dealership lot.

There will be street closures around the store due to the LA Pride Village. If you are driving, your best bet will be to approach the store from the south. The entrance to the El Centro parking garage on Argyle Ave, just half a block south of the store, will be open as usual that day. As always, we validate for the El Centro parking garage for 75 minutes with purchase.

Or take the metro! Amoeba is directly across the street from the Hollywood/Vine stop on the metro B (red line). In honor of Pride, the stations servicing both the Pride Parade and Pride Village will be renamed and wrapped in Pride colors. Hollywood/Highland will be renamed LA PRIDE NATION, and Hollywood/Vine will be renamed HOLLYWOOD & PRIDE.

This year, Hollywood is also hosting Pride Live!, a month-long celebration of LGBTQ+ pop culture, featuring film screenings, interview panels with TV & film creators, rooftop parties, and community events. Join us on Thursday, June 5th for a live performance and album signing by queer trio L.A. Exes, presented by Pride Live!. Then on Friday, June 6th, DJs wonderfulbryan and speakandspell will be spinning gay "classics" at 6:30pm, also presented by Pride Live! These Long Beach-based DJs specialize in energetic and nostalgic music from the '80s and '90s and are sure to get the party started!

On Saturday, June 7, Amoeba Hollywood is having our first ever Courtyard Sale! We'll be in the El Centro courtyard from 12pm - 4pm with great deals like $2 LPs, used CDs for $1, DVD box sets $2 or 3 for $5, plus books, graphic novels, posters, 7" vinyl, Funko Pops and more! We're also going to set up the World Famous Prize Wheel where you can spin the wheel to win awesome prizes and all proceeds benefit the Los Angeles LGBT Center! Live DJs will provide the tunes and food trucks will round out the fun, so don't miss it!
